Our new referral program makes it as easy as 1-2-3 to refer your friends!

Here is how it works:

Refer your friend to our current openings to browse job opportunities.
When your friend finds the job opening(s) they are interested in, they will submit an online application and will need to list you as a referral on their application
You will then be sent a notification to endorse your friend through Workday and if your referral is hired you will receive the referral incentive after your referral completes 90 workdays.

$150 | Staff positions – You will earn $150 if your referral is hired for any staff position in Facilities, Food Service, Support Staff, Preschool and Legacy Kids Care.

$250 | Teacher positions – You will earn $250 if your referral is hired for any teacher position not currently on the list of specialty positions.

$350 | Specialty positions – You will earn $350 if your referral is hired for any one of the following specialty positions:

Reading/Math Specialists
Occupational Therapists
School Psychologists
SPED Teachers
Speech-Language Pathologists

Please note: referral bonuses will be awarded for full time or part time roles only. On-call positions do not qualify for the referral bonus.

This referral amount increase is being offered for a limited time. This referral incentive went into effect on December 1, 2021. The Talent Acquisition team reserves the right to make changes to this referral incentive amount based on current staffing needs.

Employee Referral Program Guidelines

The referrer must be employed with Legacy Traditional Schools (LTS) or Vertex Education at the time the incentive is to be paid out.
Incentives are awarded for full-time and part-time positions.
Only one person can be listed as a referrer. If the candidate referral lists more than one referrer, the candidate referral will need to let his/her recruiter know which referrer should be listed.
If the referral has applied to LTS within the previous year and then later referred, that referrer will not be eligible for an incentive.
Company transfers (ex. Vertex to LTS) are not eligible for the referral incentive.
Substitute teachers and temporary teachers are not eligible for the employee referral program incentive.
Referred candidates cannot be current or prior LTS employees.
Campus supervisors (ex. Principals and assistant principals) who are involved in the hiring process are not eligible for a referral incentive at his/her school. However, they are eligible for the referral incentive for candidates referred to other schools in the LTS network.
The candidate referral must list the name (first and last) of the referrer on the application.
LTS reserves the right to modify, change or end this program. Vertex Education Talent Acquisition manages the eligibility and payout of the program.
There is no limit to the number of referral incentive payouts an individual may receive.
Both LTS and Vertex employees are eligible to receive the referral incentive.
Deputy superintendents, superintendents, talent acquisition and executives are not eligible for referral incentives.

As soon as you are hired on as an Employee of Legacy Traditional Schools you are eligible to participate in the employee referral program.
