Introduction
Employee engagement—the connection employees feel toward their workplace—is a critical part of any organization’s success. At Legacy, we recognize the power that employee engagement has on our collective ability to positively impact the education of every student.
To better understand how engaged you are as a Legacy employee, and identify ways we can enhance the employee experience, we are participating in the Best Places to Work survey program, administered by Quantum Workplace.
2021 Best Places to Work Survey
On Tuesday, Sept. 7, you will receive an email with a unique link to complete the 2021 Best Places to Work survey. The deadline to complete the survey is Friday, Sept. 17.
- The survey is confidential. Quantum Workplace administers the survey and will report aggregate data only – your individual responses will not be shared.
- The survey is quick. It should take you less than 15 minutes to complete. Try to finish the survey in one sitting and avoid distractions.
- The survey is open to all employees in Arizona, Nevada and Texas. We are looking forward to hearing from all of our Legacy employees!
- Your survey link should not be shared. Please do not forward the survey link to your fellow co-workers or anyone else. The links are unique to each participant so that individuals can’t take the survey more than once.
Campus Competition
The more survey responses we receive, the more accurate the results and the more we can do to improve your experience as an employee. To add some fun, we will be having a competition between campuses across our network for schools that achieve a 60% response rate!
Campuses will receive raffle tickets for a chance to win a pizza party.
- The first campus to reach 60% participation will receive 10 raffle tickets.
- Campuses that reach 60% participation by Sept. 13 will receive 5 raffle tickets.
- Campuses that reach 60% participation by Sept. 17 will receive 3 raffle tickets.

About the Survey
WHY participate in the Best Places to Work (BPTW) survey?
- It’s a way for us to measure engagement of our employees. Engaged employees mean happy, productive team members. Use the BPTW survey to share your thoughts and feelings about working at Legacy. Results of the survey are used to drive changes and improvements to the employee experience.
WHAT does the BPTW survey tell us?
- Engagement Score: This is a Quantum-calculated score out of 100. The survey vendor takes into account favorable ratings for all survey items, survey participation, and other survey content factors to calculate this score.
- Engagement Percentage: Employees can be disengaged, barely engaged, moderately engaged, or highly engaged. The more moderately to highly engaged employees we have, the more people we have feeling committed to their work and the organization, contributing to a positive organizational culture, and connecting with their team and the organization’s mission to produce outstanding results.
- eNPS: An organization’s eNPS score can range from -100 to 100. A score above 50 is considered high, anything between 10-30 is considered average, and anything below 0 can be seen as problematic. eNPS is a key indicator of organizational health in that it signifies that people would recommend the organization as an employer to others – they want to stay and to bring other people on board.
- Category Ratings: The BPTW survey asks questions that fall into categories such as Communication and Resources, Manager Effectiveness, Personal Engagement, Team Dynamics, Individual Needs, and Trust in Leadership. We can identify trends and favorability within these categories and design programs or initiatives to address any gaps.
WHO takes the survey?
- All Legacy Traditional Schools employees will be sent the survey.
WHEN and HOW can the survey be taken?
- The survey will be sent via email from Quantum Workplace on Sept. 7, 2021 to all Legacy employees. Simply open the email and click the link! Please do not share your link with other employees – each employee will be provided their own link.
Are results confidential and WHAT is done with the results?
- Yes, results are absolutely confidential! Quantum Workplace takes all data and provides reports for participating organizations to analyze. While results are confidential and cannot be tied back to any one individual, each survey link is connected to the employee’s department and team, and other demographic data like time with organization and level of role. For this reason, please do not forward your survey link to any other employee.
- Legacy leadership uses survey results to drive changes and improvements to the employee experience – so please take a moment to fill out the survey. Your voice matters!
